Juliana Rico is a bilingual journalist with experience in both English and Spanish media. She has worked with El Tiempo Libre, the largest Spanish newspaper in Las Vegas, and contributed to various publications in San Diego. She also launched La Vida Latina, the first Latino magazine in the region, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce. Juliana has worked on production teams at Telemundo and Univision, and in 2019, she created her first documentary film while studying at UCLA, where she graduated with honors in 2024. Her ultimate goal is to become the first Colombian to win an Pulitzer price, using her passion for storytelling to give voice to important social issues
